Mike

Mike graduated from Kings with his second masters degree. his MHA, a Masters in Health Administration. He also visited Las Vegas to test for his certification as a compliance officer. He just received news that he did pass and now gets to add a few more letters after his name. Busy busy busy Mike. He continues to have much success on his diet (lost over 30 pounds)and is still walking on his off days and playing tennis this summer for the Kirby Park men's 4.5 team.

Mary

Mary finished coaching the boys tennis team at Meyers. Yep, that's right she coached Michael, and both have lived to tell the tale. The team went 3-9 in the league. Not great, but not in last place. Right now she has just survived Michael's graduation and graduation party. Phewwww. A summer trip to Utah in July is next with both boys and a family trip to Ocean City in August will make the summer complete. She is also coaching summer basketball and will be going to summer b-ball camp the end of June. For the summer she will continue working out the tennis kids at Meyers and teach some field hockey on the side.

Michael

Michael graduated June 9th. He was named one of three Valedictorians and addressed the class at graduation. He will attend Penn State University as a member of the Schreyer Honors College after being accepted and offered scholarship at PSU, Lehigh, Bucknell, William and Mary, and Delaware. He attended his prom and was selected to the prom court. He was honored as as finalist in the Best and Brightest Contest locally. He won the DAR Good Citizens Award. He represented with team, the school at the Scholastic Scrimmage on TV locally. They won. He went to Bucknell to represent Meyers in a Math Competition. They did not win, but did well. He also represented the school at Wilkes in a math competition. He just was named a foreign language award winner for the United States Achievement Academy. He received his Dr Kistler Scholarship Award that he actually was named a winner in 6th grade. The award came due upon graduation. He won a foreign language award at Meyers. And was named Outstanding Senior Boy of his class as well as named Smartest in the Class at Senior Class Night His prize a lightbulb. He received his National Honor Society honor cords at a recent ceremony. He also, won honorable mention in "The Laws of Life" Essay contest - top 8 out of 1200 plus essays. Grad party was a blast and well deserved. He will then spend a week at the beach in June and a trip with mom and Matt to visit Utah again this year. Then before you know it Michael will be yelling "WE ARE PENN STATE."

Matthew

Matthew has also done us very proud. He has now grown to a height which makes him taller than his mom. Matt finished playing baseball and is now playing on a 13 year old American Legion team for the summer. He most recently was named to Who's Who Among Junior High Students for this year. We hope the first of many honors for Matthew. He was confirmed on June 4th after two years of preparation. A celebration is in the works and a trip to Utah will help to complete the gift giving. Not just for confirmation, but more so for being a great kid.
